Soldier decks become amazing in Tousou, and this guy is one of the reasons. He seems to be some form of Gatenmaru for Soldiers, and seeing that Soldiers seem to revolve around items, HMMMMM... maybe he's really good. Item tutor good. More item tutors better. There are amazing combos you can do that I unfortunately cannot mention yet...

4.3 out of 5.0
When played, draw a card. If you control KAGOME draw 2 cards instead. (*) Once per turn while you control only Good characters, you may discard a card from your hand when your opponent plays an event that is played when he is attacked to stop the effects of that event.

Province Lord

Don't remember this fellow you say? He was the lord of the castle that was holding Bankotsu's sword. Yup, he died. So, let's look at what he can do.
First, he searches your deck for an item. That's positive number one.
Secondly, if your
soldiers defeat a character, you may retrieve an item from the discard. So, is he worth it? Well, he'd be more worth while if he was a Slayer. You need both effects to make him effective, and it just isn't going to happen that well. Keeping items on your Unique soldiers won't be a problem however. So, all in all, not too bad.
