Goggleboy The Bandit's Hideout

It's one of those cards you need a deck semi-around. Every turn, you put a counter on the location. If you sac the location, you can put out as many outlaws from your hand as there were counters on the location. So, how to use it? First, protect it. Keep it from being destroyed. Second, run card draw and/or Kagome, Outlaw Boss. Third, play semi-conservatively. Keep the score even if not in your favor and try to keep your opponent from getting more then 3 characters. This card takes awhile to take effect. In many cases, this may in fact be too long. Sure, things go not-so-great, sac it early for a few free characters, but I doubt it'll have the same effect.

Well we at halfway through this Outlaw week. Today’s card is The Bandit’s Hideout.

I have not used this card because I think it mores focused to non-unique Outlaw decks that use many more bandits such as Bandit General, Smiling Bandit, Bandit Soldier, etc... I myself tend to use more unique bandit decks and never seem to have to use this location to its maximum potential. This card however is still great as it allows you to easily finish off your opponent by totally outnumbering them when your opponent is all attacked out because it is used as an action in battle so just use when they can attack you anymore. That alone gives this location a big advantage. Also this card has no deck cost. Lastly with cards like Retreat allowing to retrieve any 3 outlaws from your discard pile and put them in your hand and with Kagome Outlaws boss effect of searching for characters when one of your Outlaws steals a shard , it is no problem that you will not have any Outlaws in your hand to play when you use this location. With little or no location removal being run other than more against school hallway this location shouldn’t have a problem of staying in play.

Review: 5/5 <(^o^)>
