Ryu Juini Sango's Father, Demon Slayer

I'm going to say I don't like the art on this card compared to the original. The ONLY bonus it has is that it's shiny.

Anyway, to the card itself. It's a staple in Demon Slayer decks, period. The effect is AMAZING for them. BOTH of the effects are simply amazing and crucial to the deck's proper power to emerge from the depths of Sango's Hiraikotsu.

For a 2 Cost, the character himself has some pretty good stats. A bit low compared to other power-houses, but dang are his effects wicked. Prepare to begin stomping a rampage when you get him out and have atleast two other Slayer's watching his back. He's just deadly.

Casual Slayer Deck: 5/5
Tournament Slayer Deck: 5/5
Art: 1/5 - GOD! Please just use the original. The Holo picture sucks compared to it. =/

Sango’s Father, Demon Slayer

Let’s take apart why this card is good as simply as possible:

-Slayer Deck = Anti-Demon
-Sango’s Father = Create Demon

Therefore…

-Sango’s Father = Slayer Deck

You can’t run an effective slayer’s deck without Sango’s Father. Well, I suppose you could, but it wouldn’t be as good as it could be. His stats are stable, is cost is average, and his effect makes Slayer decks happy. Of course, his second boosting effect makes him absolutely SICK. For Slayer decks, there are no downfalls to have Sango’s Father in your deck.

Rating:
5 (Slayer Deck)
1 (All other decks)
