1st Pokemon amusement park to be built for 2005 Expo

NAGOYA — A theme park based on the famed Japanese animation and videogame
character Pokemon will open along with the 2005 Aichi Expo, event organizers
said Wednesday.
This will be the world's first Pokemon theme park, based on the animation
program featuring a variety of "pocket monsters" that has been aired in 68
countries and in 25 languages, they said. (Kyodo News) -
