East Coast Super Trainer Showdown News

master_trainer_mike says, "Here is some STS info for you, first the qualifiers are starting in Mid April as they got bumped back a bit by the release of the 3rd movie April 6th."

master_trainer_mike says, "All qualifiers for the STS will have 2 age categories 14 and younger, and 10 and younger. These categories will feed the Super Trainer Showdown and trip packages will be awarded to players in those categories. There will, where possible, be open events that will be great for family participation. These will not feed the Super Trainer Showdown. Additionally there will be open age events at the STS that will feature prizes however there will not be championships for these events."

Regarding The Toyfair News .... (Neo2, Tournament Set, etc.)

master_trainer_pat says, "This is kinda funny, because alot of the information that was given at Toy Fair is completely incorrect."

(Pojo Note: Okay guys ... I didn't make this Mew thing up. At Toy Fair, WOTC gives out folders filled with Promotional Material. This Mew thing is from a beautiful 4 page flyer that states AND I QUOTE: "The Pokemon Tournament set includes 151 original Pokemon TCG cards. For the first time ever, a combination of new and previously released TCG cards are brought together in one Pokemon set. (Mew is one of the new cards!)" Unqoute. If any of the information I presented to folks in my Toy Fair Report ( http://pojo.com/Features/0101/021401NYTF.html ) is not true, don't shoot the messenger ;-)
