I bought a waterblast deck and have modifyed it a bit. Please help me
out.

I am just a begginer and want to enter a tournement but dont want to
look like a fool from having the worst deck in history. Please help me

   From what it sounds like, you don't have a big card selection.  What you 
need to do is focus on a few Pokemon families and get a strategy.  The same 
goes for the trainers.  Multiples of any card are needed.  You seem to like 
the Machop/Poliwrath families.  4/3/2 is probably the way I would go.  Never 
go 1-1 on any family and if you put a basic in there put at least 3-4 in 
there. In Stage 1's you need2-3 and Stage 2's should be anywhere from 1-3.  
You will need 3-4 Traders since you are dealing with evolving, and maybe 
even Breeders.  Oaks and/or Bills are a must, and maybe even 3-4 Comp 
Searches.  But whatever you do please go 3-4, unless you are going to put 2 
Oaks in there, that's OK.  I would pick 1 or 2 more families for the deck 
and go 4/3, 4/2, 3/2, etc......  28 energy may be a little much, but 
whatever works best for you.
