To: thepojo@thepojo.com Subject: Re: Fwd: Raining Fire on Plants Hey. Interesting deck idea. One of the major things that I think is wrong, though, is that it is 3 colors. I have tried to make a 3 color deck, but I have just never gotten one to work right. I usually never get the energy that I need. I would take out plant, since there are only 3 pokemon of the plant type. I would use the extra 7 slots to add other pokemon. Instead of families with a 2-1, try going for a 3-2. You'll see that you can pull out the powerful pokemon more often, if not faster. I would also take out the 1 pokecenter and the 1 energy removal, because with only one in the deck, it's a rarity that you'll topdeck the card when you'll need it. I would replace them with poketraders, cause that would help you pull out the big pokemon, in case you are missing a certain pokemon to evolve. Finally, I wouldn't have 30 energy. I would probably, since you're playing with fire, put in 27-28. >4 Poliwag >2 Poliwhirl >1 Poliwrath >2 Magikarp >1 Gyardos >4 Bulbasaur >2 Ivysaur >1 Venusaur >3 Growlithe >2 Arcanine >2 Vulpix >1 Ninetales >2 Potion >1 Pokemon Center >2 Energy Retrieval >1 Energy Removal >10 Grass Energy >10 Water Energy >10 Fire Energy > > > >This is my second deck.
