Not bad for a limited stock of cards. I would try to add a few more charmander and charmeleon. Also add another professor oak. I would try to find maybe another color, because lots of decks out there now use water, and that means bad for fire. Also 1-2 Fire Energy, just for the heck of it. Nice deck, though. >Well, here's a pure fire deck I threw together. Comments are welcome. I know, I hate fire. But its the only other thing than Fighting/Psychic I have enough to make a deck of. Oh well, here's the deck. > >Deck o' Ninetails > >4xMagmar >4xVulpix >2xNinetails >2xCharmander >1xCharmeleon >22xFire energy > >4xFarfetch'd >3xRattata >1xRaticate >2xDouble Colorless > >4xBill >1xProfessor Oak >3xGust of Wind >3xEnergy Retrieval >3xEnergy Removal > >Strategy is somewhat obvious, hopefully you'll start with a Rattata or Farfetch'd as a first turner. Start pumping up the first Vulpix you get to make way for a Ninetails. Magmar is a good runner-up after your first pokémon gets toasted and will make a decent first turner if he must. Raticate can get you out of a jam by halving the life of a big Pokémon your opponent just pulled out---Brownie points if you Gust one in before it is fully pumped and retreat Raticate before he's toast. Even if Raticate is killed, the damage has been done. The trainers are fairly self-explanatory. If you draw Rattata later in the game, throw him to an energy retrieval to refill your Ninetails. >Changes/Future plans: Maybe ditch Rattata and Raticate for some Super Energy Removals, but once I get enough cards to make a water or grass or even electric deck, this one's getting taken apart. > >-InsaneDream's Farfetch'd >Translated by InsaneDream, because he's cool like that. _______________________________________________________________ Get Free Email and Do More On The Web.
