Hey, I can't really help much with the turnament thing. I would take those people, and have everyone go to the local comic or games store. Ask, with this kind of turnout, if they could sponsor a big event, since more people will go to a big turney. That's the best that I can think of. As for your deck, it's not that bad. I would make the Pikachu family 3-2, so you won't run out of electric energy. That's right, electric energy. Zapdos takes 4, and Raichu takes at least 3. You would soon run out of electric energy to use. I would put in Gusts of Wind in their places, to help with speed. Otherwise, I really like the deck. It seems slower than the regular haymaker, but it adds a little more firepower. Not bad at all. > >You guys are the best I spent forever loking for a place to check out other >peoples decks and see how they would compare to all the tournament winners >all around the U.S. >The thing that sucks Pokemon cards are realy populaire here in Ottawa Canada >but their are no big tournaments. The only tournament I could find was a >small one with about 12 people. It was vey easy to cream every one their. >I f you could by any chance give me a list of some people that live around >Ottawa(of any age) because I'getting realy board just playing my brother >every time and winning in about 5 turns! > >My e-mail is cryandunn@hotmail.com > >Thanks in advace I'm realy gratefull for every thing you have done. > >(If you wouold like a list of my deck here it is) > >ENERGY >14 fighting and 14 electric > >POKEMON >4 Machops 3 Machokes 2 Machamps >4 Pikachus 3 Raichus >2 Electrabuzz >4 Hitmonchans >2 Zapdos > >TRAINERS >4 Bills >2 Professor Oaks >2 Pokemon Traders > >Do you think I should take out some Pokemon and put in some potions or some >to heal my other Pokemon > >This deck is a fast deck that can kill the oposition in no time flat. All >my pokemon are almost all Basic. So first turn I get a hand like this: A >couple of energy(about 3-4) two or three Pokemon(most of the time a pikachu >Raichu or hitmaonchan) and maybe one Trainer card. > >My skill would be to kill the oposition realy fast. Supose I got a hand >with 2 fighting energy and two electric energy, one Hitmonchan, and one >Raichu(wich happens quite often) and a Pokemon Trader. I would put down my >Hitmonchan and atach one fighting energy to it, then trade in my Raichu for >a Zapdos(the Raichu wouldn't go to the discard pile but back into your deck) >then put my Zapdos, Hitmonchan would use Jab to deal 20 damage. Next turn I >would pick up my card, then put an energy card down on Zapdos(keep the >oposition occupid with your hitmonchan while you build up your Zapdos). >Hopefully by then I will have got some more great cards like som Pikachus >and Raichus or even more Hitmonchan. > >Tip: If you have a card that you can't use then don't be afraid to use a >pokemon traider. >for example you were using a fire and fighting deck and you pick up a >Charizard and a pokemon trader in your first turn. If you don't have a >Charmander or Charmeleon whats the point of a Charizard. Trade it in for >some thing that you can use on that turn like a hitmonchan that can do >damage on the first turn. > >Please e-mail me as soon as posible. >THANKS AGAIN! _______________________________________________________________ Get Free Email and Do More On The Web.
