      This is the current deck idea ive got running around in my elderberry
ridden head. I based it around a few principals: 1) I hate 3rd level
evolution, 2) Im a fan of single color, 3) I love Raticates (so sue me).
Anyway I made it about half colorless and half fire so it isnt so much 
single
color, but it still seems to remain on the focus of it.

Deck:
4 Charmander
2 Charmeleon
4 Magmar
4 Meowth
2 Persian
4 Rattata
2 Raticate
2 Farfetch'd
4 Bill
2 Professor Oak
4 Pokeball
4 Double Colorless Energy
22 Fire Energy

Not bad.  Fire really isn't that strong right now, but will be very helpful 
because of Jungle.  I would try, instead of the Charmander family, the 
Growlithe family.  The second stage of Growlithe, Arcanine, is way better 
than Charmander.   More damage and more life makes him so much better.  I am 
also not so sure on the pokeballs.  I am still playtesting Jungle, though.  
Pretty good, though.
