----Original Message Follows---- Hi Chipmunk, I have made a bunch of decks because I have enough cards for them, but I am getting to like this one. Just don't send me to THRASHFEST dude cuz I hope to maintain my dignity. Here it is: 3 oddish 2 gloom 1 vileplume 2 scyther 3 abra 2 kadabra 1 alakazam 2 mr mime 2 jynx 2 chansey 2 clefairy 1 clefable 2 pokemon trader 1 computer search 2 energy removal 1 super energy removal 2 gust of wind 3 bill 2 professor oak 11 grass energy 13 psychic energy OK, this deck has so many different ways to work that no one strategy can COMPLETELY destroy me. I can stall like a mother with my alakazam, vileplume, chanseys, and mr mimes. plus, I can deal some moderate damage with scyther, jynx, and clefable. I put in some energy removal cards to help in case someone pulls a charizard or zapdos or some big time energy pokemon. the gusts are pretty much a necessity in any deck in my opinion. I am not sure how this would fare in a big tourney, so I'm sending it to you before it's too late. Hopefully you can help me and tell me how I would do (decent, good, or bad). Thanks Chipmunk!!! Oh yeah, I know about the 4-2-1 rule on families, but I didn't have room, and I wasn't sure what I could take out of my deck, so maybe you can help with that too. Thanks!! -M. Nuetzi ixlilixl@aol.com -------- You are a regular contributar to my garage, so I know that I repeat many things over and over, like the families and focusing and such. So I'll just say that the BASICS need to be handled better. That way I don't keep writing about the same BS over and over. The deck definatly has many roads to victory, which isn't that bad. You need more energy, though. Since you are playing Scyther, throw in some D.C. energy. 2nd turn 60 damage is fun. Trust me. You definately need to choose with your trainers, though. You have so many different types, you don't get to put in alot in your deck. First, you don't need the search. You'll most likely be searching for a pokemon, so another Trader will work better. Next, you need to decide if you are going to play energy removal or not. 3 energy removal cards really won't help. As for your pokemon, Clefable is ok, but you might need to find a pokemon to take out to make more room. With my tastes, I would either take out the Clefairy family or the Jynx, because the rest of the pokemon work well inside the deck. With some tweaking, this deck should do well in a tourny enviroment. _______________________________________________________________ Get Free Email and Do More On The Web. Visit http://www.msn.com
