Hello, this is my mono-lightning deck:

Pokemon(19):

3 pikachus(2 jungle 1 Basic)
2 Raichu
2 zapdos
3 voltorb
3 electrode(2 basic 1 Jungle)
2 electabuzz
2 chansey
2 farfetched( in here in case I am playing a fighting deck)

Energy(25):

23 Lightning
2 DCE

Trainers(16)

3 Bills
3 Gust of Winds
2 Pokemon Traders
1 Computer Search
1 Oak
3 Potions
2 Superpotions
1 scoop up

My deck has virtually no weaknesses, here is what I will try to use agaisnt
different colors:

Psychic: Chansey
Fire: Anyone
Lightning: Anyone except farfetched
Water: everyone does very good
Grass: anyone
Fighting(biggest problem): Farfetched

This deck does pretty good at torunaments, took 2nd place in a over 30 
people

Interesting deck.  Playing mono-electric makes you really vulnerable to 
fighting, especially the ground half that resists electric.  There is a way 
to help fight this off.  I was going to write a big article about this, but 
I might as well just write it in here since it applys so much.
   Ground, the half of the fighting pokemon that resist electric and is weak 
to plant, completely wreaks electric.  Not only does it pound the weakness, 
but it practically blocks all the attacks, or at least takes minimal damage. 
  There is a way to change this.  You can do the exact same thing to ground 
pokemon, if not the whole fighting group.  Take out Farfetch'd and put in 
Scyther.  Heck, also take out the Zapdos(who REALLY ISN'T GOOD!!!)  and put 
Scyther in.  The resistance to fighting is great, but it also holds the 
weakness to ground.  It does the same thing back to ground that it does to 
electric.  I think that Scyther is going to go with electric alot in decks 
because of this.
   For the rest of your pokemon, I would make all of your Pikachu the jungle 
version.  You might also want to find a way to add a few more Electabuzz, 
probably 1 more.
   The trainers need work.  1 Oak just won't cut it.  You need more.  You 
can take out the Super Potions so you can add 2 more Oaks.  I would also 
take out the Potions and use them as card slots for other useful cards.
