Subject: Help me with my deck

Dear Pojo,
I wanted somebody to tell me how good this deck was so I can enter it in
some tournaments. This decks name is called Bench Killer. The whole purpose
of the deck is to kill the Pokemon on the other opponents bench. I wanted to
know is there anything that I could do to improve this deck before I go to a
tournament. Well, here my deck is:

1 Zapdos
1 Zapdos (Fossil)
3 Pikachu (Jungle)
2 Raichu (Fossil)
3 Abra
2 Kadabra
1 Alakazam
4 Gastly (Fossil)
2 Haunter (Fossil)
2 Gengar
2 Mr. Mime

2 Impostor Proffessor Oak
2 Lass
2 Pokemon Trader
2 Super Energy Removal
2 Switch
2 Bill

10 Psychic Energy
15 Lightning Energy

The whole purpose of this deck is to use the fossil zapdos, gengar, raichu,
and the jungle pikachu to put damage on the bench of the other opponent.
Also, to switch all of the damage to Mr. Mime so that everybody can have
full
health. Also, if a Pokemon dies, then I can use the fossil gastly to get the
energy back using energy conversion. Thanks.

Just one comment "Also, to switch all of the damage to Mr. Mime so that
everybody can have full
health". Exactly what do you mean by this? It kinda sounds like you think
damage swapping energy on to mr.mime wont do anything to it, and if thats
not what u mean then why would you switch any damage to mr.mime? He only has
40 hp! I think i could understand it if you meant switching your opponents
damage onto the pokemon you want mr.mime to kill off with his meditate.
If that what you intended to say then i think jynx is better in that
approach, he has better attacks and makes a better starter. He also has more
hit points to dump on from damage swap. Muk decks and decks that splash
muk's in them are gaining in popularity so i think overall, at least for
now, jynx is a better choice.
This way if you do face a deck with muk in it your psychic pokemon wont
become useless.

Alright enough strategy. Like in my other article i suggest using only 2
families of evolution. I don't think that the abra line is aggressive enough
to be in here, i suggest trying the deck without them and then how it runs
with them.
One more comment before i leave the pokemon subject, why the basic set
zapdos? It'd be best if you get another fossil zapdos and the jynx's for
them in a trade of some sorts. Little kids think basic set is better because
it's shiney and has more HP and most will give alot for them.

Just a couple of useless cards in here. One rant though... I NEVER HAVE AND
I NEVER WILL PLAY WITH IMPOSTERS OAKS. For the most part i think they're
wasted spots. And can easily be replaced by the more usefull, and common,
bills.
I would usually say use breeders in decks that use stage two evolutions; but
not with the awesome fossil haunter. He's too good to pass up.
The lasses are meta-game choices. If you think they'll work in your
community than go for it.

here's a mock up of what i'd do.

2 Zapdos (Fossil)
4 Pikachu (Jungle)
2 Raichu (Fossil)
4 Gastly (Fossil)
2 Haunter (Fossil)
2 Gengar
2 Jynx

3 gust of wind
3 Pokemon Trader
4 Energy Removal
3 Switch
4 Bill

10 Psychic Energy
15 Lightning Energy

It still has a problem with muk decks but it seems better.
Your first version of the deck is still good enough to be entered into a
tournament if you don't have the time to make the changes.
