DECK STRATEGY: Pokémon Center Strategy: This is a quick and easy strategy
and really annoys the opponent. what you do is move all damage counters from
all of you damaged pokémon to an undamaged pokémon, use pokécenter then
remove EVERYTHING! this strategy has helped me alot in tournament play. It
annoys my friend Justin off very much, he hates this move.

*puts deck mechanic cap on* Sorry guys...I really don't mean to be so quiet, but I just have so little time anymore. I am trying my hardest to get your fixes done. Anticipate my garage being filled with new decks. Again, I apologize.

First we have the Pokemon: You really don't need to play Crobat in your deck. It's a secondary evolution line, and you are only running a 1/1/1 line, just cut them out. I like the Southern Islands Ivysaur, I really do. There's just one problem with using it. You have no anti-Steelix at all in your deck. Cut 3 of the SI Ivysaur for 3 LC Ivysaur. Poisonpowder is just great to have, it's how you can at least stand a chance at all with Steelix. Also, drop a Venusaur, you don't need 4. Speaking of Venusaur, change one of them to the new Venusaur from Legendary Collection. This Venusaur allows you to play two Energy per turn with it's Pokemon Power. You can easily make this deck work with a 4/4/3 Venusaur line and with a 2/1 Base/Card E Venusaur Count. Having Cleffa is good in any deck, Cleffa is an universal card, fitting into any deck. Play two more. Also, you need some sort of anti-Slowking. I would recommend Muk, but Muk would mess up your Venusaur combo, and that's not cool, so play 2 Igglybuff from Neo Discovery instead. You also need some sort of counter to Espeon, which still is nice to use now, so I would recommend Murkrow, two of them in fact. Finally, cut that Snorlax. I know how good it is with your stalling and such, but it's just not gonna get the job done for the most part, there are better cards. Finally, I would like to get one Pichu in here for you. Now I know Pichu can Zzzap your own Venusaur/Igglybuff, but that's okay, you don't play Venusaur if you plan to use Pichu. Pichu is a nice little counter to any Pokemon your opponent use that has a Pokemon Power, for example, Magcargo which would wreck havoc through this deck.

Pokemon: 19
4 Bulbasaur (LC)
4 Ivysaur(3 LC/1 SI)
3 Venusaur (2 LC/1 Card E)
3 Cleffa
2 Murkrow
2 Igglybuff
1 Pichu

Next we have the Energy: I believe that you are playing way too much. You don't need all that Grass Energy. Think about it, you wouldn't lose any energy, because you are shifting energy to your undamaged Pokemon and using Pokemon Center. Plus, since you were using the Metal Energy with your Snorlax, they are no longer needed either. Cut 9 Grass Energy. I know, I know, don't go nuts; 13 is a good count, and you can attack throughout with secondary Pokemon till you get the Venusaur. Also, you need Darkness Energy to attack with Murkrow. Get 3 Darkness in there. Three Darkness is all that you need for 2 Murkrow.

Energy: 16
13 Grass
3 Darkness

Finally, we have the Trainers: Alright, since this deck is soooooo close to being New Modified Level, you can just cut the Lass and change it from Unlimited. I mean Lass is your only non-Modified Card. Alright, now you need to focus your Trainers on speed and drawing. It's the key to winning. You need to be able to get cards when you need them, and not just hope to topdeck them. And as much as I hate to level your current Trainer mix, I am afraid I am going to have to. You need a 4/4/3 Professor Elm/Pokemon Trader/Oak's Research drawing Engine going. Then of course you need 3 Focus Band and 4 Pokemon Center for healing and survival. You need some sort of Bench advantage going on. So get 3 Double Gust in your deck, as well as 2 Switch. This way you have selection on your opponent's Bench, and also the ability to retreat your Venusaurs. Get two Energy Stadium in your deck to retrieve lost Energy. Also get a Time Capsule in there for lost Energy/Pokemon.

Trainers: 25
4 Professor Elm
4 Pokemon Trader
4 Pokemon Center
3 Oak's Research
3 Focus Band
3 Double Gust
2 Switch
2 Energy Stadium
1 Time Capsule

The final deck looks like:
The Valley of the Venusaur
Modified Format˛

Pokemon: 19
4 Bulbasaur (LC)
4 Ivysaur (3 LC/1 SI)
3 Venusaur (2 LC/1 Card E)
3 Cleffa
2 Murkrow
2 Igglybuff
1 Pichu

Energy: 16
13 Grass
3 Darkness

Trainers: 25
4 Professor Elm
4 Pokemon Trader
3 Oak's Research
3 Focus Band
3 Double Gust
2 Switch
2 Energy Stadium
1 Time Capsule

Hope I've helped. Good luck dude, and thank you for stopping by!
