Hey all! Decks to fix, decks to fix...let's get to it! =D >>>> Satoshi, PLEASE fix my deck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Weeds! pokemon19 4 hoppip (neo genesis) 3 skiploom ( neo revalation) 1 jumpluff (neo genesis) 1 jumpluff ( neo revalation) 3 zubat ( neo revalation) 2 golbat ( neo revalation) 1 crobat ( neo revalation) 1 rockets hitmonchan (gym heros) 2 machop (rocket) 1 dark machoke (rocket) trainers20 2 elm 1 nightly garbage run 1 healing field 2 balloon berry 3 pkmn breeder field 1 secret mission 1 energy charge 3 gold berry 2 berry 2 new pokedex 2 energy flow energy21 10 grass 8 fighting 1 rainbow 2 dark >>>> Ah, a modified deck. And one that, imo, has fairly solid beginnings. Let's see if we can't help it along a bit, hmm? =Pokémon= -19 4 hoppip (neo genesis) 3 skiploom ( neo revalation) 1 jumpluff (neo genesis) 1 jumpluff ( neo revalation) 3 zubat ( neo revalation) 2 golbat ( neo revalation) 1 crobat ( neo revalation) 1 rockets hitmonchan (gym heros) 2 machop (rocket) 1 dark machoke (rocket) Yowza! We need some major focus in the Pokémon section of your deck. First of all, we're running 3(!!!) families-even in modified, this is way too much. I'd like to keep it down to one or maybe two-one family serving as a main attacker, one serving as backup. In this deck, I think we'd be better suited to have the Neo: Revelation Jumpluff as our main attacker. Not only does its low energy cost allow us to run insanely low amounts of energy itself, but its 'Evolution Spore' attack allows for a kind of "Gremlin" effect; they just keep multiplying O_O!!! LoL...so anyway, I'm thinking we remove the Machop and Dark Machoke for two more Neo Revelation Jumpluff and a fourth NR Skiploom. -2 Machop -1 Dark Machoke +2 NR Jumpluff +1 NR Skiploom Now that we've got the main attackers all set, let's move onto our secondary attacking family. Jumpluff's low energy requirements are great and all, but the little guy still needs some backup. For this, I'm thinking something along the lines of Dark Gloom. Dark Gloom's 'Pollen Stench' Pokémon Power can be _really_ annoying, especially when you've got someone up front popping you for 30 every turn. Let's ditch the Zubat, Golbat and Crobat for a 2-2 Dark Gloom family and two of the card every deck needs: NG Cleffa. -3 Zubat -2 Golbat -1 Crobat +2 TR Oddish +2 Dark Gloom +2 NG Cleffa Okay, we're left with one space. With it, I say we add in something along the lines of a ND Wooper. With all the Grass we're packing, we're just asking to be burned...literally. Typhlosion will be a force to be reckoned with at the WCSTS2, so we need to be prepared. -1 Rocket's Hitmonchan +1 ND Wooper Okay, that looks good for now. We may come back though: Pokémon(19) 4 Hopip (NG) 4 Skiploom (NR) 3 Jumpluff (NR) 2 Cleffa (NG) 2 Oddish (TR) 2 Dark Gloom (TR) 1 Scyther (ND) 1 Jumpluff (NG) =Trainers= -20 2 elm 1 nightly garbage run 1 healing field 2 balloon berry 3 pkmn breeder field 1 secret mission 1 energy charge 3 gold berry 2 berry 2 new pokedex 2 energy flow ...Yipe. =/ Okay, majormajormajormajor work needs to be done here. First, let's look at your draw power. 1 Secret Misson, 2 Elm...that seems to be it. >_< Ouch. We'll fix that first. Nix the 8 Fighting Energy we had for Rocket's Hitmonchan so we have some breathing room. Add in 2 more Professor Elm, 2 Misty's Wrath, 3 Erika, and a third Cleffa(I told you we might go back to the Pokémon ;)). -8 Fighting Energy +2 Professor Elm +2 Misty's Wrath +3 Erika +1 Cleffa Alright, that should be enough drawing power. Now let's give your Trainers some more focus...like a lot. =/ Nix the Gold Berries, Energy Charge, Secret Mission, Pokémon Breeder Field, and Healing Field for three Focus Band, another Nightly Garbage Run, two Rocket's Hideout Gym, and three Imposter Oak's Revenge to be used with the Erikas. -3 Gold Berry -1 Energy Charge -1 Secret Mission -3 Pokémon Breeder Field -1 Healing Field +3 Focus Band +1 Nightly Garbage Run +2 Rocket's Hideout Gym +3 Imposter Oak's Revenge Finally, take out the two New Pokedex for two Double Gust. The Balloon Berry stays in just in case some wise guy gusts Dark Gloom up. =/ -2 New Pokédex +2 Double Gust All in all, this deck is starting too look good: Trainers(27) 4 Professor Elm 3 Erika 3 Imposter Oak's Revenge 3 Focus Band 2 Misty's Wrath 2 Double Gust 2 Energy Flow 2 Balloon Berry 2 Rocket's Hideout Gym 2 Nightly Garbage Run 2 Berry =Energy= -13 10 grass 1 rainbow 2 dark Not much left to do. Minus the Rainbow and Dark energies for three Full Heal Energy. We're done! Energy(13) 10 Grass Energy 3 Full Heal Energy Here's what the entire deck looks like now: Revised "Weeds" Pokémon(20) 4 Hopip (NG) 4 Skiploom (NR) 3 Jumpluff (NR) 3 Cleffa (NG) 2 Oddish (TR) 2 Dark Gloom (TR) 1 Scyther (ND) 1 Jumpluff (NG) Trainers(27) 4 Professor Elm 3 Erika 3 Imposter Oak's Revenge 3 Focus Band 2 Misty's Wrath 2 Double Gust 2 Energy Flow 2 Balloon Berry 2 Rocket's Hideout Gym 2 Nightly Garbage Run 2 Berry Energy(13) 10 Grass Energy 3 Full Heal Energy I like how this deck turned out. Turn one you should yourself holding the fort down with Cleffa while you build up a NR Jumpluff in the back. When it's ready, send it out and confuse the opponent with Dark Gloom's 'Pollen Stench.' If the power fails, play a Full Heal Energy and then Energy Flow it back. Start to hit them in the head with 30 every turn until you find yourself on the brink of death. By then you should have a few Skiploom in back, so use Evolution Spore to evolve them before you go down. Send out a _new_ Jumpluff and Nightly Garbage Run the old one back into your deck, to be used again. Thus, we have the "Jumpluff Loop." Enjoy. ;) That's all for today folks. Good luck and happy gaming!!
