Original Deck
~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hey Jedi. I made this Deck I really like. I personally think it's great , but I haven't tested it yet, and I'd like to know what you think of it. Here it is:
The Evolution-Solution Deck
Energy (27)
1 Double Colorless Energy
13 Fighting Energy
13 Psychic Energy
Pokémon(20)
3 Aerodactyl
4 Hitmonchan
3 Hitmonlee
1 Rocket's Hitmonchan
3 Mew
2 Mewtwo (Movie Promo)
1 Mewtwo (Nintendo Power Promo)
1 Mr. Mime
1 Jynx
1 Rocket's Mewtwo
Trainers (13)
1 No Removal Gym
4 Mysterious Fossil
2 Challenge!
4 Bill
2 Professor Oak
The goal of my deck is to stop Evolution using Aerodactyl's Prehistoric Power and Mew's Devolution Beam. Then, attack using your own Basics.
Deck Fix
Pokemon
   First off, take out mime. If your deck devolves your opponents pokemon and then beats them down with basics, the mime won't serve a whole lot of good...doing relatively little damage and having a pokemon power that will not help much without your opponent's evolutions...just a weak pokemon in this deck. Take out a Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan because you have a couple singles in there, and strengthening them up by adding in another jynx and rocket's mewtwo should make your deck a bit more consistant. I honestly don't care too much for the Mewtwo from Nintendo Power, or the hitmonlees, but bench destruction seems to be an underlying theme, so I'll leave it how it is...
Energy
   The Double Colorless certainly isn't helping you a whole lot...so drop that. Now drop 3 Fighting and 3 Psychic to give some room for much needed trainers, and you should be set. These trainers include card drawing, so you should be able to get the energy quicker and speed the deck up a bit, without reducing the amount of energy plays per game since you're going through your deck quicker and you see the energy more quickly [dropping a few won't slow you down this way]. This leaves plenty of room to fix up the trainers for the deck... Trainers
   Add in a professor oak and 3 computer searches - this way, you should be able to get what you want when you need it. Use the No Removal Gym mainly for stopping annoying opponent's gyms, such as Chaos Gym, and add in 2 lasses for disruption. This will make it so your opponent has a tough time getting a gust for your aerodactyl (deadly with a scyther), and also help protect against energy removal, unforseen pluspowers, etc. Since you don't really have any super-important trainers that you need to keep throughout your turn for the deck to function, lass fits in nice.
