SATOSHI: Okay...let's see what we can do.
This deck revolves around the idea of "Active Stall" and focuses on
4 Rocket's Hitmonchan
4 Rocket's Mewtwo
4 Rocket's Scyther
3 Rocket's Training Gym
3 Rocket's Minefield Gym
3 Energy Removal
2 Super Energy Removal
2 Professor Oak
3 Computer Search
3 Gust of Wind
3 Nightly Garbage Run
The Pokemon are pretty self-explanatory. I don't even have to
SLIGHTLY mention why they are included.
The Trainers are more complex. Rocket's Training Gym supplements
the deck's Energy Removal. Rocket's Minefield Gym was put in to destroy
Wigglytuff decks when they don't get an early jump-start. Bill, Oak,
and Search are the card-drawing power, Gust of Wind is for...well, you
know what it's for, and Nightly Garbage Run is great for "decking" the
When revising this deck, be sure that ALL the Pokemon have Rocket in
their names. Also, keep the two types of Gyms-I want this deck to be
powerful AND have a theme. Agreed?
SATOSHI: Okay...you've got some tall orders here...but it's doable.
Alrighty...Rocket's Mewtwo is a bit too slow for my tastes...but to everyone
their own. However, if you want to have some fun(and annoy the heck out of
your opponent), drop the Rocket's Mewtwo and add in four Rocket's Snorlax.
Restless sleep can make your opponent thing twice about hitting you, and
Collpase goes good with the Pokémon Power. Other than that, we're looking
Remove one Bill for another Professor Oak. Playing with less than 3 is
crazy, IMO. You might also remove one of each Gym for two PlusPowers or
Itemfinders. I would personally go for the PlusPowers. Other than that,
If you're using the Rocket's Mewtwo, stay with the Psychic Energy. However,
if you switch to Rocket's Snorlax, make the Psychic Energy into 2 Full Heal
Energy and 4 Double Colorless Energy.
I like the Team Rocket theme you went with. They have some of the best
Pokémon in the TCG. But, isn't that odd since in the Video Game and the
Cartoon their Pokémon stink? Hmmm...
SATOSHI: That's all for now! Good luck and happy gaming!!
