A Rain Dance that hates Lass

What's up Ness?  Please help me with my Rain Dance!  I win pretty much every game except the games that I get Lassed after first turn or especially after playing Computer Error. They just knockout the Squirtle and win. I am also losing some games where I draw Squirtle as my only basic and it gets knocked out first turn.

---Pokémon: (13)---
4 Squirtle (TR)
4 Articuno
3 Blastoise
2 Dark Blastoise
---Trainers (32)---
4 Computer Error
4 Computer Search
4 Item Finder
4 Professor Oak
4 Nightly Garbage Run
4 PlusPower
4 Bill
4 Pokémon Breeder
---Energy (15)---
15 Water

Strategy

You're obviously going with a first turn Computer Error, then hopefully getting a turn 2 Blastoise going, and attacking with either Articuno or Blastoise itself, just like a normal Rain Dance. There are problems, though, and one of them is about you being Lassed and losing. There are ways to stop this. If Lass is that much of a problem, we can work the deck around it.

Old Style Rain Dance

These fast Rain Dance decks that try winning by having a huge hand that can do a lot more than that of a Haymaker's large hand are nice decks, but you should be thankful that you can actually get your first turn without being Lassed. You shouldn't push it, and play Computer Error, which pretty much just begs for a Lass.

Pokémon

We're trying to build more of an old school Rain Dance here. One that can work around Lass, yet still have speed. How do we do this? With Kangaskhan. Kangaskhan provides the drawing without helping your opponent. Kangaskhan can give you 2 cards a turn to help make that Lass recovery. Kangaskhan cannot be knocked out fast. Kangaskhan does take some speed out of your deck, but if Lass is that much of a problem, then Kangaskhan is your answer. We should play 3 Kangaskhan.  We should probably drop one Articuno, too. I would suggest adding one Wartortle. This way a Dark Vileplume doesn't automatically lose you the game, and after a Lass, you can still get Blastoise out without the Breeder. Even against unexpected things, like Mew, the Wartortle helps. So we add 3 Kangaskhan, add a Wartortle, and drop an Articuno. We're at 63 cards now, but don't worry, we'll get down to 60. Just remember you can't get Dark Blastoise out through Wartortle.

Trainers

If you do manage to get the turn 2 Blastoise out (which you should be able to do at least half the time that you aren't Lassed or RSA'd) and are stuck with a Kangaskhan out there, you're gonna be in trouble when it comes to getting that Kangaskhan out. I would suggest 2 Switch, since Scoop Up isn't going to work well with Blastoise and Articuno when they are pumped up with lots of energy. I think the Switches can be useful against status effects, also. Drop every single Computer Error- it's losing you games. Drop a Nightly Garbage Run and drop 2 PlusPowers. 2 PlusPower isn't the nicest amount to play, but you will need them in certain situations, like when you're attacking with a fully powered Blastoise. Drop a Bill. 3 is good enough, plus Kangaskhan can help draw. Drop a Breeder. We have a Wartortle to replace one. I think you can drop an Item Finder, too, 4 Item Finders are for extremely fast decks, you don't have to be THAT fast, plus Item Finders can really stink in the opening hand (just like Nightly). I think 2 Lass would be something to add, as Lass is great after you have the Blastoise out and fully a fully powered Articuno or Blastoise. You can really get an advantage on them by Lassing. You should add one Gust, almost every deck needs at least one. So we've dropped 4 Comp Error, 2 PlusPower, 1 Breeder, 1 Nightly, 1 Bill, 1 Item Finder, and added 2 Lass , 1 Gust of Wind, and 2 Switch. We now are at 58 cards.

Energy

Add a couple water. 15 is hard to get away with without your Computer Errors. We're done. Let's look at the final deck. I renamed it, too.

A Rain Dance that spits on Lass' ugly face
---Pokémon: (16)---
4 Squirtle (TR)
3 Articuno
3 Kangaskhan
3 Blastoise
2 Dark Blastoise
1 Wartortle
With Wartortle and 3 Kangaskhan, Lass remains a threat, but way less of one since we are able to evolve and draw extra cards without our trainers, to make the recovery. Kangaskhan helps you make that recovery fast, so you can still get a large advantage, and win the game.

---Trainers (27)---
4 Computer Search
4 Professor Oak
3 Item Finder
3 Nightly Garbage Run
3 Bill
3 Pokémon Breeder
2 PlusPower
2 Lass
2 Switch
1 Gust of Wind
We actually went down on the card drawing, and gave up on the Computer Error, to solve this deck's main problem: Lass. We are actually playing Lass now in this deck to secure our advantages when Blastoise comes out.

---Energy (17)---
17 Water

Without the Computer Errors, slightly more energy is necessary to abuse Rain Dance.
