Muklix

yo ness can you help me with my steelix/muk deck?  muk is to beat slowking and steelix is there just cause he's 110 HP and hard to hit with metal.

Pokémon: (20)
3x Grimer
2x Muk
4x Onix
4x Steelix
2x Cleffa
3x Skarmory
2x Rocket's Scyther

Trainers: (28)
4x Gold Berry
3x Computer Search
3x Professor Oak
3x Rocket's Sneak Attack
3x PlusPower
3x Defender
3x Gust of Wind
2x Scoop Up
2x Professor Elm
2x Nightly Garbage Run

Energy: (12)
4x Metal Energy
8x Grass Energy

-------------------

Pokémon:
First of all, Skarmory is just a terrible card, plain and simple. Get rid of it.

And I don't think you should play grass energy, so get rid of the only grass Pokémon you should be attacking with, Rocket's Scyther.

Make the Steelix/Onix line 3/3, that will do.  You only have 4 metal energy, how many Steelixes can you possibly get going...?

Though it sounds crazy, I think we could use Sneasel in this deck. I have some ideas in trainers to make it work. Add 3.

Max out on Cleffa, as it won't really matter if they're Mean Looked when you got Muk and you ARE playing two evolutions.

I suggest one Murkrow so you can beat Dark Plume even better (as most don't play Scoop/Switch, and they're best hope is Gust- if they DO play it), and because you can Mean Look something after a Lass if they're left without many options, and you can also drop a Chaos to stop the Switch/Gust/Scoop.  Remember, that unlike Slowking, if they fail that Gust/Scoop/Switch- it's not comin' back!

Trainers:
Hmm, we have a LOT of work to do here.  Though Gold Berry with Sneasel i is nice, we can drop one, and go down to 3.

Rocket's Sneak Attack is much too fast for this deck, wipe out their whole hand with one card, you got Cleffa to get your hand back, anyway.  Make it 3 Lass.. and actually add one, so you're maxed out, at 4.

The Defenders are inferior to Gold Berry and only last a turn.. get rid of them.  Nightly could help get the evolutions back but it won't get our non basic energy, so get rid of it.  I also suggest dropping the Elms, Cleffa is your shuffler-back-inner.  Scoop Up is bad with evolution, drop those, too!  And PlusPowers?  Not in this deck, Sneasel and Steelix do amounts that really don't need PlusPowers.. Also minus a Gust, two will work... wow, that's a lot of card-getting-rid-ofing.

Now, instead of Scoop Ups, play switch.  That will work much better with Steelix and Muk.

Add 3 EcoGyms so you can fight against Energy Removal.

4 Computer Search is a must with double evolution especially.

1 Chaos Gym can always help when you got a built Sneasel and or Steelix, so you can solidify your advantage.

And a must is Item Finder, add three of them!

I hate Energy Charge, but other people like the card, and I guess it is pretty much the only reasonable way to get your energy back. Add two.

Energy:
Add 4 Dark and 4 Rainbow for the Weasels, then a couple Recycle because 12 is simply too low.
