Vulpix vulpix!

Well, as usual I didn't get enough mail this week. *sniff* On the positive side, though, I finally got to stretch my mental muscles by doing another couple of bashes. I wanted to do the polls too this week, but Spike has decided that we'll be doing polls and bashes on alternating weeks. Trying to cram them both in every week would be too much, he decided. It also lets us spread out the humor and concentrate a bit more on fixing decks, so I suppose it's good overall.

I got 2, count 'em, 2 letters this week. The first regards the Pokemon Lady, as well as the ongoing Cyberdemon vs. Pikachu debate.

Your question about the Pokemon Lady has a very simple answer. You said it yourself. She was not taken inactive, she was fired. As Spike explained it to me, she is no longer in good standing, and she probably won't work here again. Hence the rather Orwellian expurgation of all evidence pointing to her onetime existence as a mechanic. (Spike, Vulpix and Spike's Shed do not take responsibility for the accuracy of this information, which is hearsay. Anybody who wants the real scoop should send repeated, annoying letters to Scott Gerhardt to help him test out his new mail filter.)

As for the Cyberdemon... well, I'm not really sure what to think. We could reasonably assume that the Cyberdemon's reaction to electricity would be similar to that of a Steel Pokemon. So... has anyone played Neo and used Electric-type attacks on one of those suckers? How did it go? Let us know!

Well, thank you for the very nice deck. I and Spike looked it over, and we like it a lot. We see some changes we'd make, of course, but when have we not? Specifically, we agree that this deck (as most decks) needs Energy Removal. Very nice job, though! If you want to see mine and Spike's idea of a deck based around me, check out "Spike's Deck" under the 4/24 decks. That deck is a bit weaker to water than this deck (okay, it's a LOT weaker to water) but it's still pretty lethal in Spike's hands.

And thank you for the comments on my cuteness. And yes, I have met Brock's Vulpix... but that's a story for another day.

Enough. Go read me shredding apart some decks. Vulpix!
