SATOSHI: Hello again, and welocme back to the Shop...hmph. Excuse my
annoyance. I just found this..wierd goldish/silverish Pokeball on the front
steps of the Shop, and I can't figure out how to get the blasted thing
open...Well, let's see the deck.
Hello Pokemaster Satoshi
I am Brian, and i have a new deck that i would like you to fix up. I dont
have all the cards for it yet (like the alakazams), but i would really like
to be one of the first ones to come up with this deck. Its main idea is to
get dark alakazam up there and start using Teleport Blast, and then switch
with either fossil haunter or scyther, preferribly(sp?) haunter because of
pokepower, but either is very good. Then, next turn retreat the haunter or
scyther for alakazam and do it again. Because of free retreat and good hp,
the scyther and haunter will keep alakazam alive. The main problem i see is
Alakazam getting gusted off the bench, or abra getting killed. I can
abra from getting killed by putting him down when i have the alakazam and a
breeder in my hand, and i can prevent Alakazam from getting gusted with
Although these arent always surefire ways to stop it from happening, it will
help. I need your advice on what to do with the deck. So, without further
adieu, Alakazams Extraterrestrial Escape!
3 Dark Alakazam
4 Dark Abra
2 Fossil Haunter (all i have)
3 Fossil Ghastly
1 Mewtwo MP
3 Pokemon Breeder
3 Computer Search
3 Super Energy Removal
3 Energy Removal
2 Item Finder
3 Professor Oak
2 Gust of WInd
SATOSHI: Wow. I mean WOW. This is auctually the best idea I've seen in a
long while! A fresh new strategy...nice. Still, I've got work to do. This
deck needs a little fine-tuning, and that's what I am here for.
Hmm...the Pokemon need very little help. The only thing I would suggest is
to switch two Psychci energy out for 2 more MP(Movie Promo) Mewtwo. These
guys can really help your deck hold its own until you get Dark Alakazam out
into the fray. Also, I would REALLY suggest switching out the Energy
Remvoals for another Fossil Gastly and Haunter; this will help your strategy
to get going. That's about all for the Pokemon.
Okay, the trainers need very little work. To help with your strategy, I
would pack at least two Switch. Remove the Lass(while the scenario you
described is believable, it is also not a very good reason to pack Lass) and
S.E.R. for 3 Switch, another Pokemon Breeder, and a fourth Dark Alakazam.
That looks oaky for the Trainers.
Energy is fine. You should be able to get by with 18 Psychic Energy in this
Very nice. A fresh strategy, and a good one at that.
SATOSHI: Well, that's all for now. I'll ring you up at the register, and
then I'm gonna try to get this Pokeball open...where's my jackhammer??
Better yet, where is my 'Pyrotechnics For Dummies' book...?? Good Luck and
Happy Gaming, everyone!!
