Well, I gotta thank y'all for responding so well to the poll. Got a lot of information. More than we really wanted to know, in fact. As a result of this, the poll has been moved to its own section. Go read it!

In the meantime (in between time) this means I go back to letters.

Who said I stopped doing bashes? I've got bashes! They're just back under the header of Really Bad Decks. We had to discontinue the rating system after a number of irate e-mails from a rude person named Lowtacks or something like that, but the bashings continue. None this week, but they will return on a semi-regular basis.

No, thanks. Dogbert tried that, and it looks pretty boring. I'd rather just sit here and tweak individual humans from the comfort of the Shed.

Me? I didn't do anything to Pojo's webpage...

What the hell are you smoking?

Okay... I asked Spike to jump in on this one.

SPIKE: Okay, buddy. Fair enough question. First of all, I don't follow any particular rule. It varies from deck to deck. Here's why I do what I do. First of all, 24 energy is in there because I think it's around the optimum for most decks. Some decks may run less, but no decks should run much more. As for the trainers, trainers are the backbone of any good deck. Any deck that has more Pokemon than Trainers is sending up a red flag to me, quite frankly. And what's this about not wanting to draw Trainers all day? Certainly you want some Pokemon in the mix, but you also want to get good trainers (GOW, ER, PlusPower) in your hand, and you want other trainers (Search, Bill, Oak) to help you in finding them. Finally, come the Pokemon. There's nothing wrong with having a lot of Pokemon, unless they're scattered around in evolution families so you never find them. The problem comes when they start taking space away from the trainers that should be your lifeblood. Most decks run best with one or two evolution families
VULPIX: Thank you, Spike. Well, we're all out of letters for this week. Why don't you guys cruise on over to the poll results and check out what people have to say about my inane questions. You can also read the new ones for this week. I made up these questions especially for you, and my feelings will be hurt if you don't go read and respond to them. And you wouldn't want that to happen, now would you?

Vulpix!
