Well Jake, the deck you have here is kinda nice. I know you don't want
to hear this, but the Oddish family doesn't need to be there. That gives
you more room for Trainers. It was a nice idea...it just won't work well on
the tourney scene. Pokemon is like Magic in the fact that archetypes
dominate the tourney scene...and a new deck stands a small chance of winning
against the polished and tweaked favorites like Haymaker and Raindance.
I would add another Gengar, drop a Haunter, and consider dropping the
Mime. You have way to many Pokemon in there. And you really need to clean
up your Trainers. Add 1-2 more Traders, and you also need some card
drawing. About 2 Oaks and a few Comp Searches will not only help you draw
cards, if you need to, you can Comp Search for whatever evolve you are
needing at the time. I would run about 22-23 Energy since this is mono-Psy.
About 2 Energy Retrievals would be nice to add also. I find that
Retrieval can go in almost any deck. I also see that you are making a fatal
newbie mistake. Running 1 copy of a bunch of Trainers. NO! Trainers will
only work in multiples....yes there are a FEW exceptions. You need to look
at the deck and what you are trying to accomplish, and add Trainers to help
you in this process. Thanks and good luck!
My name is Jake. I'm new at deck desinging & would like some help from a
Pojo Pro. Please? Here is my general 411-Psychic Poke'(PP) are my personal
favorite type of Poke'mon (P!) Haunter being my favorite. This is my 3rd
deck. My 1st was a Haymaker that just had my favorites. It didn't last very
long. My 2nd deck is better & has put up a decent fight against my
opponents. My 3rd & favorite is the one that I'm asking for help on.
Well here it is-
1-Gust of Wind
I know I'm low on trainers, but thats where a Pojo Pro steps in. The
P.Breeders get my Vileplumes up & they cancel the need for Potions.
Thanks for the listening! If you respond to help me or change
anything (Please HELP), contact me at
