Okay...this deck illustrates a common dilemma...how to
make space in a deck. In this instance, the solution
is considerably more obvious than usual, but it's
still a good example.

1) 22 Pokemon is just way too much. And you've got too
many singles here. First of all, drop Hitmonlee. I'd
much rather have Chan in most situations--the 1
retreat is his only real advantage, but it's not
enough in this case. Secondly, drop Gengar down to
4-3-2. Unless you're going for some sort of Turbo
configuration with Breeders, there is no reason to run
any evolution family like this--it wastes space.
Lastly, drop the Ditto. Now, I know that I'm gonna get
some disagreement from Ditto lovers. While I still
think he's too unreliable for me, I will concede that
there are some situations where he can be useful.
However, the majority of people don't think this
through. The thought process of the average Ditto user
(no offense) seems to be: "Duh...I can have any
Pokemon my opponent has! Cool!" *vacant stare* I can't
tell you how many Dittos I've killed with GOWs :-) Now
that we've created some space, what to put in?
Hmm...we're already at 15 Pokemon, even with the cuts.
Let's tentatively add a Hitmonchan and two more Mr
Mimes. We will keep an open mind about cutting them if
we have to. Oh, by the way...you mentioned that your
deck includes "Fossil Mew." This leaves me with two
questions:

A. Mew was in Fossil? How come nobody told me?

B. Assuming you're talking about the promo, what other
tournament-legal Mew is there?

Seriously, though, I just love giving people a hard
time over slips of the tongue. Now that we've covered
Pokemon, let's move on to trainers!

2) This deck just about has it all already. Why don't
we start by dropping 2 GOWs and adding in 2 more ERs.
Then we can swap the Traders for Searches (versatility
is good.) I think that about does it. There are some
other trainers that are helpful (Item Finder, Switch)
but they shouldn't be critical. In particular, Switch
isn't all-important here since your retreat costs are
pretty good. Actually, I tell you what--I'm going to
go and take a slot or two for Breeder. It's always
helpful with a Stage 2, and you should have the room.

3) You mentioned you needed space for fighting energy.
Well, that's why we just created buttloads of space a
number of sentences ago. Fill it up.

20 Pokemon:

4 Gastly (all fossil)
3 Haunter (all fossil)
2 Gengar
4 Hitmonchan
2 Mr. Mime
2 Mew
2 Mewtwo

17 Trainers

4 Bill
2 Oak
2 Computer Search
2 GOW
4 Energy Removal
2 Energy Retrieval
1 Pokemon Breeder

24 Energy

14 Psychic Energy
10 Fighting Energy

Hmm...the energy balance is still a little iffy. Toy
with this on your own. You are looking at a relatively
low amount of psy, but given your relatively cheap
attacks and Retrieval, not to mention your Mewtwo, you
shouldn't have that many problems. Everything else
should be good.

Oh, and by the way--your question about Vulpix? Well,
before I let Vulpix answer, let me tell you that my
favorite is Brock's--the 50 HP one. No question about
it. A 50 HP basic with auto-sleep for one energy, not
to mention 20 damage with bench destruction for 2
fire. Mmm good :-) Now let's see what Vulpix has to
say...

VULPIX: Vulpix vulpix! (Basic Vulpix, of course. You
can't beat the original. Though I have to admit I look
adorable holding a Pokeball in my mouth...)

Better get him out of here before it goes to his
head...
