I use Energy Search to get energy out. Then I stall
with Lapras until I get Articuno or Evee/Vaporeon out. Could you give me a
modest tune up. My friend is very short on rare cards and has never been in
a
match.
25 Pokemon
4 Eevee
2 Vaporeon
3 Psyduck
2 Golduck
2 Poliwag
1 Poliwhirl
1 Lapras
1 Articuno
4 Geodude
3 Graveler
2 Golem
<<If you're short on rare cards this deck is OK, could be better. Vaporeon
isn't the strongest water pokemon out there, there's some better and they
aren't rares.>>

10 Trainers
4 Energy Searches
1 Bill
2 Potion
1 Super Potion
1 Switch
1 Full Heal
<<Need a couple more here, Energy Searches are OK in a two color deck they
give you sort of a rainbow energy ;) but I don't think we need 4,more card
advantage will do the same thing and more.>>

25 Energy
15 Water Energy
10 Fighting Energy
<<=)>>

The Golduck line is very nice, I think we should expand there. Golduck's
Hyper Beam can keep the opponent helpless, but try to keep him on the bench
until he's powered up. Take out the Poliwhirl line to add another Psyduck,
Golduck, and another Bill. I think Seadra would go well here, Agility can
stall and you can do a good amount of damage with his Water Gun attack-take
out 3 Eevees to add 3 Horseas and 2 Vaporeons to add 2 Seadras. The
Poliwhirl line won't do you much good, Poliwhirl isn't exactly the best of
attackers-let's add 2 Dittos(i at all possible) instead, he's an all-around
good attacker. With the 1 extra card let's add a Comp. Search to get those
evo. lines going. I think trading in the Articuno for another Lapras will
give you needed speed, Articuno takes a little too long to power up for this
type of deck. It's been a tough choice, but I don't think the Golem line
does well here, they're too slow-once you get up to Golem you'll have to get
4 energy on 'em to attack E. Denial will kill 'ya. All of your pokemon are
weak to lightning so I think the resistant Sandslash line will do the job
nicely, Sandslash can hit HARD to those weak to fighting and Sandshrew isn't
so bad himself against an electro opponent. Take out 3 Geodudes and 2
Gravelers to add 3 Sandshrews and 2 Sandslashes. Your trainers really need
some work, let's take out the remains of the Golem line to add 2 Oaks and 2
more Switch-it'll help you get Sandslash and Lapras outta' there. Energy
Retrievals will be more helpful in this two-colored deck so let's take out
the Energy Searches to add 2 Energy Retrievals and 2 Energy Removals. I
think leaning a little bit on E. Denial now that we have Golducks would be a
good idea. Take out the Full Heal and S. Potion to add 2 more ERs. Finally
take out the 2 Potions to add a Comp. Search and Pokemon Trader.
