Probably the funniest thing about the phrase
"All your base are
belong to us"
is...it's not made up. It's an
excerpt from ZeroWing, a seriously attempted game for
the Sega Genesis by Taito in 1989. It's actually a
pretty average game, but the game was horribly
converted from Japanese, and the result is one of the most infamously bad
English translations in gaming history,
and a cult following across the globe.
