Aerodactyl does have his weaknesses. Ditto, Scyther (especially), and other pokemon with Fighting Resistance, make him a difficult pokemon to use in decks at times. However, his pokemon power is very desirable, and I find more and more decks these days trying to squeeze in an Aerodactyl or a Muk lineup in order to throw that wrench into your opponent's strategy.

By the look of what you sent me, it is obvious you are wanting to toss out the Aerodactyl early and hit with the big basic pokemon of Magmar and Electabuzz. I don't understand why you are playing Spearow in this deck. It honestly makes no sense at all. Let's try to fine tune our pokemon a bit more to strengthen our theme. The 4 Magmar and 4 Electabuzz are great. But instead of the Spearow and Dittos, let's put Scythers. We'll also keep the Kangaskhan, as they will help us draw that Aerodactyl quicker.

Pokemon (14 Basic + 3 Evol = 17 Total):
4 Magmar (Fossil)
4 Electabuzz
4 Scyther
2 Kangaskhan
3 Aerodactyl

Now that we've got that settled, let's focus on energy. 27 is way too high. Let's cut back down to 24.

Energy (20 Basic + 4 DCE = 24 Total):
12 Fire
8 Electric
4 Double Colorless Energy

And finally, we need to pull together a series of trainers that will help our deck operate in a wide variety of situations. We've got room for (60 - 17 - 24 = 19) 19 trainers, and we'll fill about half of this with draw cards... we want to get that Aerodactyl quickly, right? Bills, Professor Oaks, Gamblers, and Computer Searches are some of the best cards for this purpose. We need 4 Mysterious Fossil for the 3 Aerodactyls. That leaves us with 6 slots left for other cards. Let's add 3 Gusts of Wind and 3 Scoop Ups.

Trainers (19 Total):
4 Bill
2 Professor Oak
1 Gambler
2 Computer Search
4 Mysterious Fossil
3 Gust of Wind
3 Scoop Up

Best of luck with your Aerodactyl deck.
