All of you. Go see Spiderman. Now. That said, onto the deck report! =P >>>> What's up? I made this deck a couple weeks ago and it has faired pretty well at the league I go to. The strategy is to get Dark Gengy as my active and a Slowking or two on the bench. If I can get these two out, than usually my opponent won't be able to do much. Since 30 damage for Dark Gengy's Pull In attack isn't much, I sometimes attach a darkness energy to him. I have Sneasel because he's just a really good basic (as if you didn't know). Also, with the Gastly, I can use his Energy Conservation to bring back Darkness energy. Well, heres my deck, It's called....... "The Nightmare" 18 Pokemon 3 Gastly (fossil) 2 Dark Haunter 3 Dark Gengar 2 Slowpoke 2 Slowking 4 Sneasel 2 Cleffa 24 Trainers 4 Professor Elm 4 Gold Berry 4 Erika 2 Focus Band 2 Switch 2 Gust Of Wind 2 Pokemon Breeder 2 Rocket's Hide Out Gym 2 Nightly Garbage Run 18 Energy 12 Psychic Energy 4 Darkness Energy 2 Rainbow Energy Thanks! >>>> Hmm, well the first thing I see is that the inclusion of Fossil Gastly and Sneasel makes this a non-Modified deck. If this is the case, why the Modified format-styled drawing engine? This is where a lot of the fixing will be taking place, so let's get to work. Pokémon (18) 3 Gastly (fossil) 2 Dark Haunter 3 Dark Gengar 2 Slowpoke 2 Slowking 4 Sneasel 2 Cleffa Alright, since we're going to some major reworking in the Trainer section, drop the two Dark Haunter for a third Slowpoke and Slowking. Other than that, I'd say we're good here. The 3-3 Slowking line will hamper your opponent even more, and 2-2 lines are always kinda "ehh..." Pokémon (18) 3 Gastly (fossil) 3 Dark Gengar 3 Slowpoke 3 Slowking 4 Sneasel 2 Cleffa Now, let's mess with the Trainers: Trainers (24) 4 Professor Elm 4 Gold Berry 4 Erika 2 Focus Band 2 Switch 2 Gust Of Wind 2 Pokemon Breeder 2 Rocket's Hide Out Gym 2 Nightly Garbage Run Alright, we're obviously not playing a Modified deck. So why the Elms? =\ Ditch the Elms AND the Erika for four Professor Oak and four Computer Search. Also drop a Gold Berry and the Switch for three Itemfinder to aid in Trainer re-use (obviously). Now drop the rest of the Gold Berry for another Focus Band, a fourth Itemfinder, and a third Pokémon Breeder. We'll leave the Nightly Garbage Run and the other cards as-is. Trainers (24) 4 Professor Oak 4 Computer Search 4 Itemfinder 3 Focus Band 3 Pokémon Breeder 2 Gust Of Wind 2 Rocket's Hide Out Gym 2 Nightly Garbage Run Onto the Energy: Energy (18) 12 Psychic Energy 4 Darkness Energy 2 Rainbow Energy Hmm...well, drop two Psychic Energy for two more Rainbow Energy so that we can have all the possible Darkness Energy for Dark Gengar/Sneasel. Energy (18) 10 Psychic Energy 4 Darkness Energy 4 Rainbow Energy Okay...we're done! Hope this deck works out for ya. Good luck and happy gaming!
