Speed is an essential element of a good deck. It needs to be able to get through its cards quickly enough to be effective, but not so fast that you deck yourself. But how do you make a deck faster?

Well, there are two ways. Search trainers and Drawing trainers. Since you are also not content with the slowness of your deck's fighting potential, we can eliminate some of the stallers or less effective pokemon for ones that attack quicker. This will give you the definate edge in the games you play. Since you are choosing Psychic, a good filler for this role is the Movie Mewtwo.

Pokemon (15 Basic + 6 Evols = 21 Total):
4 Gastly (Fossil)
3 Haunter (Fossil)
4 Dratini
3 Dragonair
3 Scyther
4 Mewtwo (Movie)

With this new combination of pokemon, we'll need to revisit the energy we choose to play with. Unfortunately, in your email, you failed to mention what kind of energy you were playing with. I assume you meant 18 Psychic energy. We'll use mostly psychic energy, but let's toss in a few grass for Scyther, just in case.

Energy (20 Basic + 4 DCE = 24 Total):
4 Grass
16 Psychic
4 Double Colorless Energy

As I mentioned earlier, the best way to speed up our deck is with trainers. One of the most glaring trainers missing in your deck is Bill! Play with 4 of these. 4... 4... 4... 4... have I said that enough times for all you other trainers to get it written down? *FOUR BILLS IN EVERY DECK*

Trainers (15 Total):
4 Bill
2 Professor Oak
2 Computer Search
3 Gust of Wind
2 Super Potion
2 Item Finder

Good luck! I hope this speeds up your deck to a satisfactory play =)
