Subject: energy removing deck Ok Shain, I'll see what I can do. First off, I'm seeing in this deck what I'm noticing in most of the decks I'm getting: Multiable Focus! What I mean is the deck is trying to do too much and won't do what you intend it to do effectively. I've seen a couple of decks that use a Raindance/Control style of play. The base concept seems solid, but there are a bunch of cards that can be dumped and replaced with cards that will better help what you are trying to do with the deck. Here's what I would do. For starters, loose the Bulbasaur line. There is no functionality for them in this deck. Also lose the plant energy you have in here as well. That's 11 cards already. I would suggest you lose the Super Energy Removal, both Super Potions, the Imposter Oak, and the Gust of Wind. The singles won't help the deck that much and while the Super Potions are good cards, the idea for this kind of deck is for you to keep your energy and your opponent to lose theirs. That's a total of 16 cards. Now for what to add in. Since this has Raindance elements, it needs to have a heavy amount of Water energy. So I would add 10 more Water energy. That should give you 20 Water energy total to work with. I would also add 1 Squirtle, Poliwag, Farfetch'd, Professor Oak, and 2 potions. The adding of the Pokemon is to bolster what Pokemon you have in the deck already. The extra Oak should help speed you through the deck. The 2 Potions should help with the damage afctor in the deck. I hope these suggestions help. Bryan Howland Lynn Corey wrote: > My deck is an energy removal deck. So I get rid of my opponents energy, > then attack. Please give me some advice.
