Ambipom

The only reason to play this is charity tail and if you use this use it obly for the discard.

This off course can be quite powerfull in the beginning of the game later sitting with 15-20 cards isn’t unusual and having an infarnape deck discard 2 cards to save 70 is just to easy.

Ambipom

The potential for speed threat is very big here. The deck concept is a funny one not disimilar to the Gambit strategies of Chess. An Ambipom gamble involving spending all your deck resources for a T2 Ambipom 80 and/or hand disrupt can pay off big time but then may again fall flat. The Aipom line is very Lucario vulnerable, particularly with Lake Barrier in play. As a support attacker, Ambipom loses consistency and its low HP becomes too much a liability.

Ambipom LV.36 MT

Hello there planet earth, and any other life form that may be reading this. Today’s COTD is Ambipom, the new evolution to Aipom that is sure to make your opponent hurt mentally more than physically. This card has a slight lack of HP, 80 HP isn’t enough to survive almost any powerful stage 2 attack. But this card shouldn’t be paired against stage 2 pokemon, it should be out stage 2 attacking basic or stage 1 pokemon and making your opponents hand start hurting. Tail influence is Ambipom’s only attack that you’d want to use late game, the ability to knock off multiple energies with only one attack is astounding, plus it does 30 damage. Charity tail is why this guy will see play though, doing 80 damage unless your opponent discards 2 cards in their hand. This isn’t an attack you use to do damage, it is one where your opponent must now choose whether they want to discard two cards from their hand, or give you a prize. If they keep discarding their hand, they will soon be unable to do much due to lack of cards. If they let you knock out their pokemon, go to town with it and get in as many KO’s as you can before they send in their big hitter. It’s also a plus that if you use this when your opponent doesn’t have a hand (Or only one card in it,) then you can do 80 damage every turn!

Pros –
80 damage for 2 ©
Energy discard
Hand disruption

Cons –
Low HP
Chance to make the attack do 10 instead of 80

Unlimited – still not fast enough for that dang Sneasle

Modified – This could work, use the right deck and you could do good with this card 4/5

Limited – Dang, this thing rocks here, either 80 or discard your opponent’s precious hand 4.75/5

Low HP gets in the way again,
