Staraptor 1/5: One word.... Braveheart.
Alex M.
Staraptor Lv. 54 Diamond and Pearl
Staraptor is a Stage 2, Colorless type Pokemon that evolves from Staravia, has 100 HP, +30 Lightning Weakness, -20 Fighting Resistance, and a Retreat Cost of 0.
Staraptor's HP is average/below average for DP Stage 2 Pokemon, the weakness is decent, the resistance is very useful in the current metagame, and the retreat cost is great at 0.
Staraptor is one of those cards that is on the cusp of playable. If somebody has the luck to play this card, it would do VERY well in a tournament, however most people's luck should not warrant them playing this card, hence making it another shoebox card. Although, I see this as a tech to Infernape decks in the future because: 1. It is Boostable, 2. It can be Rare Candied, and 3. Is Colorless. Flipping tails on its second attack would KO itself, but also KO the Inferape as well.
Rating: 2/5
