Professor Rowan:

Unlimited: There are much better trainers to run that search for a lot more. 1/5

Modified: Better than the alternative POR. ( Prof Oak's Research). However still not quite as good as CopyCat. Look for this card to be played after the format rotation with the loss of the holon engine. 3/5

Limited: Any form of draw power is amazing in limited. 5/5

My name is Prof. Rowan
Discarding I lack
You get to keep one card
The rest goes in your Deck

Unlimited: Could be nice as you can lay one card aside
but there are so many better Trainer cards to choose from.

Rating : 1/5

Modified: This could be a life saver. Let’s say you got a Metagross DS in your hand
And you need the Rare Candy. You keep the Metagross shuffle your hand back then draw
4 cards and guess what Candy!! Ofcourse you have to be me or just have sick luck.

Rating : 3/5

Limited: Draw is always GOOD here take it.

Rating : 5/5

Prof. Rowan is in the middle for me. In decks based around the speed of a card A + card B + card C combo (or cards to search out cards A, B and C) it may have use. E.g. you can hold onto the rare candy and hope to draw the evolution. 4 is a weak turnout that may backfire - if the card you keep is not a supporter and all you draw is energies, that's game over! Considering there are many stronger draw cards such as Steven's advice around, it's an unnecessary risk for decks.

Hey Everyone it’s the M-Azing one here to deliver another week of Pokemon Card Reviews. This week were going to be reviewing some more trainers and then back to reviewing Pokemon. Today’s card will be the Professor from Sinnoh Professor Rowan.

To Start off Professor Rowan is a supporter meaning if you play him you cant use anymore supporters for the rest of the turn. His effect is simple you chose one card from your hand and shuffle the rest back into you deck then draw 4 cards. This can be a helpful effect if you have nothing going on in your hand but otherwise Id stick to Much simpler Draw power since it thins out the deck rather then chancing drawing the same stuff you gave up before. I see this card getting some play when Stuff like Prof. Birch gets Cycled out and Stuff like Bill Maintenance but by then who’s to say we wont have something better? Time will tell if this card is good enough to see mass play.

Unlimited: 1/5 Sorry Bill and Prof. Oak Own this card.

Modified: 2/5 There’s Still better options here.

Limited: 4/5 this is where this card s good. There isn’t much draw power here so if you Draft it USE it!
