FEAROW

Modified:
Definitely a huge consistency bonus for decks like Flygon d/Salamence d,
which have a little bit of midgame consistency issues. The only downside is
there isn't a Spearow d to fit into the Holon Engine.
4.5/5

Unlimited:
Delta Pokemon aren't too strong in unlimited, so there's no need to play it.
1.5/5

Limited:
A huge advantage if you can get it out and have enough delta Pokemon. If
you have Spearow, play it.
5/5

Fearow d

Fearow doesn’t really have a spot in many decks. It get’s zzaped by its own Raichus in Delta, fails to get Metagross DX’s in Sallygross, and isn’t necessary in Metanite because of Delta Control.

Unlimited: 1/5
You shouldn’t even be running Delta Pokemon to fetch with this.

Modified: 3/5
I guess a TecH 1/1 line is certain decks is fine, but most decks can do without him.

Limited: 4/5
The power is sick here. Since all of your Pokemon are Delta, you can basically grab any Pokemon from your deck. VERY good.

Fearow delta

Modified 4/5 - Although it isn't mandatory for delta Pokemon decks, it certainly helps in many situations. If nothing else, it allows you to consistently search out delta Pokemon, allows better draws into much needed Energies and Trainers. However, its pre-evolution non-delta Spearow, Cessation Crystal, and Cursed Stone (vs. 60 HP) are this Pokemon's drawbacks.

Fearow~I was recently browsing pojo and found this on the underrated cards article posted by Nest to me I really dont think this is underrated while its better but worse counterpart Nidoqueen is highly overrated. Fearow lets you search for any delta pokemon within your deck that is the thing that sticks out most about this pokemon and with over half of the cards in the format basically being delta this is a great plus for fearow however, it only has 60hp which is 10 more than a common basic but then wait i might be able to say 20 more since alot of basics are only being printed with 40 hp nowadays. Still 60 hp is still low for a non-ex stage 1 pokemon. Not only that fearow can only hit for 30 damage how exciting! Its type and weakness arent to great in this format either. If you are going to use fearow sit him on the bench and let him set up the delta pokemon that he wishes he was. If queen wasnt stage 2 she would HIGHLY out shine him eventhough she already does.

Kempley05 Fearow

This week we’re reviewing some of the cards that see play in one of the deck most popular decks so far this year - “Metanite”

Today it’s Fearow. This stage 1 searches for 1 delta Pokemon every turn. A very useful setup card for decks like Salemence or Metanite, however he can be a little clunky on your bench late game. Different people have different feelings on this card, and it’s a matter of whether you like maximum consistency or maximum board sweeping potential.

Unlimited – 1/5 – No decent delta Pokemon to warrant it’s use here.
Modified – 3/5 – Some like it, some don’t – test it and make your own decision.
Limited – 3.5/5 – There’s some delta here, can be a good setup card.

Today’s Card Of The Day is…Fearow from Crystal Guardians

The Ultimate delta support. His power allows you to grab and pokemon with d on the card, and put it in your hand. With Holon mentor and Holon researcher, you have the ability to swarm with any delta type. His attack is about average, but he should never see the active position anyway. This should be the first pokemon you search for in your deck.

Combos: Pinsir d…when used in combination you can easily get several delta lines in play.

Modified:  3/5 once you have set-up he becomes almost useless.

Limited: 3/5 makes getting your 1/1/1 stage 2 lines very possible.

Current ebay Value: $1.50  (Plus or minus $  .75 cents)

P.S. Jeff Reynolds is the best T.O. EVER!
