Once Scyther was benched, it lost its "Swords Dance" ability. Slash will only do base damage of 30 (x2 from Rhydon's Weakness). Anytime that a Pokemon is Benched it loses ALL EFFECTS that it currently had tied to it... (this includes some effects from the opponent like Eevee's Tail Wag). > > My second question: > > Player one has a Poisoned Digett. Player two has a Zapdos out with 30 HP > left. Both have one prize left. If Zadpos with 30 HP is facing a > Poisoned Diglett with 30 HP, used Thunder (which knocks out Diglett), > and Knocks himself out with Thunder, would the game go to sudden death > or would the player with Zapdos win? Prize cards would go to both players, and this would not determine the sole winner. However, remember there are other winning conditions: "Your opponent has no in-play Pokemon." So, if either of you ALSO lost your LAST Pokemon as a result of the double K-O, their opponent just scored one MORE winning condition. If one player has 2 winning conditions and the other has only 1 (his/her opponent had Pokemon on their bench to replace their K-O'd monster), then the player with 2 winning conditions WINS and you would NOT play sudden-death. Hope this helps, Brian Brokaw PS : GREAT! questions. thanks :-)
