It would have been SOOOOO much better with a 20 base damage attack! 10 damage is so small! Even if you successfully Shift to your opponent's Weakness, you are still only inflicting 20 damage! (poison is nice, but wasted on Venomoth IMHO). Ok, I'm done ranting now... on to your questions :-) >Part 1 ------------------------------------------------ >Your opponent uses tounge wrap, and you're paralized. >You use a potion, end of turn. >Opponent uses scoop up on machop, then fails to paralize with tounge >wrap. >On your turn, are you still fighting? Or did you transform back to >grass while paralized? Venomoth is still Fighting Becoming Paralyzed, Asleep, Confused, Poisoned, "Agility'd", "Sand Attacked", or any other "effect" does NOT erase an existing effect. If Venomoth successfully shifted to FIGHTING, then Venomoth will be FIGHTING until something that REMOVES effects is done (like retreating, or evolving... or de-volving in the case of Venomoth ;-) >Part 2------------------------------------------------ >Your opponent uses supersonic, and you are confused. >On your turn, are you still fighting? I know you can't shift again, but >your not accually shifting, just using the results of last turn. You are still Fighting (see explanation for Part 1). >Part 3 ------------------------------------------------ >Your opponent uses scoop up on machop, and fails to paralize w/ tounge >wrap. >Are you still fighting, or do you need a fighter to stay fighting You are still Fighting. "Shift" is not a "continuous Power" like Mr. Mime's Invisible Wall. Shift needs to be announced and used, but once complete, the effect does not rely on the Power to continue its effect. Brian Brokaw
