    Hi.  I was wondering how Pikachu's spark attack works.  Does 
    the active defending pokemon take 20 hp damage and another on the 
    bench 10?  Or is it 10 hp each?

The active defender takes 20 damage (or 40 if weak, or none if resistant),
and ALSO one of his benched monsters will take 10 damage (no weak/resist
applies).


    Also, can energy cards be transferred from one pokemon to another?  
    Or is it once laid, it stays with that one pokemon?

Once attached it is usually STUCK on that pokemon, unless you have
a card (like Venusaur!) that allows you to move it.
