Well, as long as it is not your FIRST TURN of the game, and as long as you did NOT JUST PLAY THE POKEMON TO THE TABLE, and as long as you did NOT ALREADY EVOLVE THE POKEMON THIS TURN, you can put the matching evolution card from your hand onto a Pokemon you own on the table. For example, put a Raichu card on a Pikachu card. Now, the Raichu is your new Pokemon (all things written on the Pikachu card are "forgotten"... only things written on the Raichu card are valid). When evolved, you must keep damage counters and other cards that are attached to the pokemon you are evolving however... So evolving does not removed damage, but it will cure a Pokemon of Poison, Sleep, Paralysis, and confusion! Brian Brokaw
