Vaporeon's Water Gun Energy Cost is 1WW (this means 1 colorless energy and 2 Water type energy). So, in order to use Water Gun you must have 3 energy attached to Vaporeon and 2 of those 3 MUST be Water type. However, you are allowed to attach MORE energy to Vaporeon. So, if you have 4 Water energy cards attached, 3 of them will pay the energy cost of Water Gun and the 4th is "extra". Since this "extra" is of Water type, Water Gun will pump up to 40 damage. Lastly, you can put AS MANY water energy cards on Vaporeon as you want, but Water Gun will never do more than 50 damage (since this is the max of 2 "extra" water energy). >now Clefable. Very >confusing to me Metronome is VERY CONFUSING to lots of people. WOTC tried to actually simplify it from the Japanese version believe it or not. Here is how they explained it to me: DEFINE a "cost" (which Metronome does NOT copy) as any sentence on the card that uses the term: "in order to". For example, "Discard 1 Fire Energy card in order to use this attack". This is a COST and will not be copied. However, since coin flips do NOT say "in order to", they are NOT costs and MUST be copied (in other words, you STILL need to flip coins when you copy Comet Punch). Hope this helps! Brian Brokaw
