I'll give it a try: >1. What does scoop up do? Scoop up STEALS a prize from your opponent. You use it to take the BASIC POKEMON CARD (only!) from one of your Pokemon in play on the table and put it into your hand. You must discard ALL ENERGY AND EVOLUTION CARDS when you do this however. You would usually want to use it on something like a Chansey who has 110 damage (and ALMOST knocked-out) so that your opponent doesn't get the K-O. >2. Does Mr. Mime's Pokemon Power Prevent him from getting over 20 damage, and >prevent him from dealing over 20 dameage. Or does it just prevent him from >getting over 20 damage. It just prevents him from GETTING over 20 damage. His meditate attack can be pretty deadly at times (way over 20 damage). >3. When you are asleep, do you wake up and then attack? Or do you wake up, >and then your turn is over? What I really need to understand is how sleep >works. Someone will attack you with a sleep-inflicting attack and put you to sleep. At that VERY MOMENT your pokemon is asleep. At the end of THEIR turn (that's correct! IMMEDIATELY after they put you to sleep) YOU flip a coin. If you get a HEADS, your Pokemon WAKES UP, and then you get to take your turn! (so their sleep attack move did VIRTUALLY NOTHING to slow you down) However, if you get a TAILS, your pokemon is still asleep and will not be able to attack or retreat on your turn. HOWEVER, at the end of your turn you flip a coin again. This process keeps going (flip a coin at the end of BOTH PLAYER'S TURN to see if you POkemon wakes up.) If you NEVER get a HEADS on your flip, your pokemon STAYS ASLEEP. (It only wakes up when you flip heads). Hope these help, Brian Brokaw
