1. Question regarding Mew
One of the postings on Mar 22 in the Single Card Tips section
(http://www.pojo.com/SingleCards/March00/22v.htm
<http://www.pojo.com/SingleCards/March00/22v.htm> ) mentions that when Mew
uses De-Evolution Beam on an opponents pokemon, "they have to wait another
turn because according to the rules you cannot evolve a pokemon its first
turn in play".  The technical reading of this action according to Wizards'
online rulebook states that "you cannot evolve a Pokémon that you just
played or evolved on that turn".  It says nothing about being able to play
on a Pokémon that was De-evolved, so I think that the opponent should be
able to re-play the Evolution card on their next turn without waiting.  I
wish it were the other way because I play Mew's in my deck and would love to
be able to take advantage of that loophole, but I'm just too honest I guess.
Please confirm which way the ruling should be so I can play this attack
properly.

The rules on evolving are as such:

1) You may not evolve a Pokemon that was brought in to play that turn.
2) You may not evolve a Pokemon on the first turn of the game.

Since the Pokemon started the turn on their side, it is legal to evolve them immediately back.  Mew is best used with a card such as Areodactyl, used to counter a Pokemon Breeder, or to knock out a Pokemon that would have enough damage counters on it after de-evolving.  It can not hold them off a turn.
