1) If you scoop up your last in-play Pokemon, you lose. Immediately.
    There is no time for you to play a Pokemon to the bench before the
    game stops because you failed the "always have an in-play Pokemon
    game winning condition".

2) If you scoop up you active pokemon, you must immediately replace
   it with a pokemon from your bench.  There is no time to put another
   Pokemon into play before this MUST happen.
