From: Brian Brokaw To: Sysco_Kid2 Subject: Re: aerodactyle's power VS. evolutions Date: Tuesday, October 12, 1999 9:09 PM In Your Fossil spoiler i think it says that aerodactyle can prevent someone frome playing an evolved pokemon, or something like that. Anyway, does that mean that if aerodactyle is in play I could not, for example, use my venusaur's attack and pokemon power, or does it just mean that I couldn't evolve venusaur from ivysaur? If it just means you can't evolve, could a pokemon breeder bypass this? This is kind of an important question because my deck relies on 1st and 2nd stage evolutions like pidgeot and eggcecutor, so please post it if you can. Also, would an aerodactyle on MY bench prevent ME from evolving MY pokemon? Sorry the question is so long. ------------------------------------------------- 1) Aerodactyle just keeps players from putting new evolution cards into play. If an evolution (like Venusaur) is already in play, then you can use that evolution normally. But if Aerodactyl is in play, and you only have an Ivysaur, you will NOT be able to evolve it into Venusaur until something happens to Aerodactyl (it gets K-O'd or Asleep/Paralyzed/Confused). 2) Yes, Aerodactyl prevents ALL players from playing new evolution cards (not just Aerodactyl's opponent).
