The only time that it considered a Pokemon Card is while in-play. (However, Mysterious Fossil may be _played_ at any time a Basic Pokemon can be played--even though it is still a Trainer Card. Exchanging Pokemon Cards using Pokemon Trader is not considered _playing_ those Pokemon.) Brian Brokaw
