Charizard requires its trainer to remove two energy _CARDS_ when using his Fire Spin attack move. So, your opponent should have discarded BOTH DCE cards. However, he was correct in using 2 DCE to power Fire Spin. Fire Spins energy requirement is 4 Fire _ENERGY_ (not Fire energy _cards_), and once Burned, 2 DCE will provide 4 Fire energy. Brian Brokaw
