Hey everyone! I have some really important info on Fake cards and a sad story. I was at my summer parks program when I decided to fight this one kid who had no good cards. I thought it would be an easy win.(I was on a loosing streak and I was pretty peaed off.) When I asked him he said "O.k but Be careful I gots and Arcanine from a shop." Well, when the kid sent out his arcanine,it looked different, VERY different. I asked him where he got it. " I gots it when I was in Elmira"(Elmira is the town I live in) He said. Well, I asked his sister and she said the same thing. and they got it at a good shop where they had gotten cards before. "Although The pakaging WAS slightly different. It said q-boy. Is q-boy a new line of cards?"She said. "No..... that's a sign that it might be fake." I said "Fake?" "Yes fake. Not real, non-authentic, not made by Wizards©" I asked if I could take home the card to get some info and the boy said yes. Now I have just taken measurements and done some comparing to another Arcanine and this is what I got: Real Fake length: 3 1/2 Inches 3 1/2 Inches width: 2 1/2 Inches 2 1/4 Inches Size of picture:2 1/2 Inches 2 1/4 Inches (top left to bottom right) color on back: Blue Deep deep Purple Copyright: Yes No Number card(out of 102):47 N/A Rarity Symbol: Dimond N/A Light test: No light Can see the Pokeball! After all this I finally reached a conclusion: The Arcanine is Fake. I feel really sorry for this kid. I told him to try and Excahnge it. I think we can all learn a lesson: Even the most reliable sourse can ocationally give a bad card. If any one knows What I should do about this card, E-mail me at: labbott@stny.lrun.com Thanx! Mew (no, that's not my real name) P.S. try the test that I did if your not sure if a card is fake or not!
