Wizards of the Coast intentionally added "shadows" on the right and bottom
of the picture art AFTER the Basic set 1st Edition print run was completed
(all of my Basic 1st Ed. cards do NOT have the shadows, but all of my
Basic Unlimited print cards, and all my 1st Ed. Jungle cards DO have the
shadows)
