Banished
Ah, yet another wacky card. This one causes 2
characters(one choosen by each player) to lose their
effects and sideline effects.Yusuke the raver loves
this card. It saves him the time of losing his first
piece. a team that has only one character with an
effect or sideline effect can just choose their own
character and not worry about anything else. It can
also negate any of those annoying effects your
opponent has. But remember, your opponent will be
choosing a character too so it's not perfect.

Banished
Effects, and Sideline Effects, are all over the
place in YuYu lately. Going down the list, Kenko,
Koorime, Puu, Suzaku, Elder Toguro, Yoko (Urameshi),
Kurama (Kurama), Rando (the technique fetcher),
either Suiken Chu. Any of these effects are
deserving of a Banished. Yes, they get to shut off
one of your characters' effects and sideline
effects, but so do you, and this lasts the game, not
just a match. So many decks need whatever effect
they use to make their deck run, this card can
completely shut them down. End of story. Even
without the combo issues, being able to punch Kenko
in the face with an attack bigger than 5000 is
always nice as well, or being able to do more than
just your base damage to Puu.
Not worth it for Sealed, if you somehow manage to be
able to run a promo card in a Sealed event.
Constructed 4/5 (run two, you'll be thankful)

Upsides -
Banished is a great overall card in a beatdown deck.
I really like this because it is my way of killing a
king. Yusuke the raver is completely useless and if
you are tired of that yoko, Koorime, or Poo geting
on your nerves
BAM! it is no more.
Downsides - This card is not going to win you the
game if you need your sideline effects because you
will lose 1 of them. It is rarelly seen
in play because first you need to draw it and
chances are you will not use it.
