Anyhow this is Henry in case you forgot and this is a deck that I'd like you to fine tune sometime if you've got the time...or help me at least.  This is basically my variation on an Insanity deck (which actually breaks the base rules of Insanity decks since I use a Tribute Monster).  But to be more exact this isn't really an Insanity deck anymore...it's more of a Control/Lockdown/Weenie Rush.  I don't know exactly.  Anyhow the strategy lies in using Hand Disruption with the 2x White Magical Hats, 2x Robbin Goblin, 1x Delinquent Duo, and 1x Confiscation.  After that comes lock down.  2x Magic Jammer and 2x Magic Drain for that job.  And.Yes it breaks the Insanity rule but...Jinzo to lock down traps (since he techinically can't be trap holed...and if I have Magic Jammer and Magic Drain to protect him...) so that's the lockdown aspect.  Weenie rush I think you're familiar with...BTW I know Magic Drain is a piss poor choice but I'm trying to be semi realistic here.  Imperial Order is going to be hard to get...Jinzo alone will be piss hard to get so...if I can get Imperial Order I'm switching out a Magic Drain for it.  So without further ado, my attempt at a bit of originality in an established deck type.

Hey Henry, I appreciate you sending in your deck.

First off, about you saying that Jinzo breaks the traditional Insanity “rule”. That’s nothing to worry about; Jinzo is going to eventually be restricted at one per deck, thus making it a beatdown staple. It’s simply too good not to play.

(Monster) - 16

3 - Dark Elf

3 – Magician of Faith

2 – La Jinn the Mystical Genie of the Lamp
2 – White Magical Hat
2 – Maha Vailo
1 – Mechanical Chaser

1 – Cyber Jar

1 – Jinzo

I didn’t worry about adding anymore Mechanical Chaser since they are so hard to come by. I know you have one in your current possession, if you wind up getting any more, just drop La Jinn the Mystical Genie of the Lamp for them.

To tell you the truth, I really dislike Goblin Attack Team. I wouldn’t have despised them as much if you could change back to Attack Mode the next turn, but as it’s stated, you can’t.

As well as adding another Magician of Faith, I also upped the Maha Vailo count by one. Playing with just one Maha Vailo is defeating the purpose of it. And since you play five Equipment Magic cards (As well as 3 – Magician of Faith), It’s all good.

I’m going to break up the Magic into small sections. This way it will make more sense.

Monster Recursion (2):

1 – Monster Reborn
1 – Premature Burial

(And also one Call of the Haunted, which will be included in the Trap section)

Monster Removal (2):

1 – Raigeki
1 – Dark Hole

Hand Disruption (3):

1 – Confiscation
1 – Delinquent Duo
1 – The Forceful Sentry

(And Robbin’ Goblin, which will be included in the Trap section)

Monster Disruption (2):

1 – Snatch Steal
1 – Change of Heart

Magic / Trap Disruption (4):

2 – Heavy Storm

2 – Mystical Space Typhoon

ATK Power-Ups (5):

3 – Axe of Despair
2 – Megamorph

Card Drawing (1):

1 – Pot of Greed

That gives us 19 Magic cards. With our added Monsters we have a total of 35 cards. We’re aiming to keep the deck at 40 cards exact.

Only a couple changes were made to the existing Magic line up. The added Mystical Space Typhoon should gives you further control versus Swords of Revealing Light (Which is common in most competitive decks) and any random Messenger of Peace / Gravity bind decks you are faced against. Mystical Space Typhoon is also great for destroying opposing Robbin’ Goblins and sniping any Equipment Magic that is giving you problems.

If you find you need a stronger Defense, go ahead and drop both Mystical Space Typhoon for 2 – Swords of Revealing Light.

With a somewhat small amount of Monsters, Premature Burial (Which is soon to be restricted) should be an obvious choice.

And lastly, Trap cards.

1 – Call of the Haunted
1 – Mirror Force
1 – Imperial Order

2 – Robbin’ Goblin

There are two reasons why Trap Hole wasn’t included. The first reason being that I wanted to keep the deck at 40 cards. And the second reason is because that Trap Hole has been getting more and more outdated as the sets go by. This deck has plenty of Monster power to just run over the opposition. Trap Hole isn’t as necessary as it once was.

Magic Jammer is card disadvantage while Magic Drain is only good in certain types of decks. Imperial Order is just a great Magic counter overall (And expect it to be restricted as well). If you can’t get your hands on one, replace it with a random Magic Jammer as a substitute.

Call of the Haunted is in here for the same reason as Premature Burial and Monster Reborn. Though neither Premature Burial nor Call of the Haunted is as high quality as Monster Reborn, Monster advantage is almost always a good thing.

There you have it Henry. Let me know how it performs.
