Hey Mike. Glad to see you're a Dark Necrofear fan. Around my area
it isn't played much, but it has the possibility to be a decent contender. Since
you said I can make any changes I want, I'm going to go all out. Hopefully the
end result will be a better version of what you have originally
outlined.
-Monster- 18
3x Dark Necrofear
3x Kuriboh
3x
Gemini Elf
2x La Jinn the Mystical Genie of the Lamp
2x Sangan
2x Kycoo
the Ghost Destroyer
1x Bazoo the Soul-Eater
1x Cyber Jar
1x
Jinzo
First off, you originally had a few too many
Monsters. With that many, you were sure to have excess Monsters sitting in your
hand very often. In this type of deck, 18 sounds about right.
Giant Germ: Even though it's a Fiend-type, Giant Germ is a sub-par
cad in this deck. With what's available, it isn't needed.
Wall of Illusion: Too many Monsters now days run over this card
with ease. Goblin Attack Force, Gemini Elf, and Bazoo the Soul-Eater to name a
few. Yeah I know you _want_ Fiends in your Graveyard, but you still want to play
with solid Monsters nonetheless.
Magician of Faith: It's a good
card, but not needed in this deck. Dark Necrofear is pretty slow as is, you
don't need lots of Flip Effect Monsters to slow you down even
more.
Big Eye: Read Magician of Faith.
Kuriboh: Fits
the theme perfectly. Not only is he a very easy to dscard Fiend-type, but the
Effect can be a potential life saver.
Kycoo the Ghost Destroyer:
Solid attacker with an Effect that can protect your Graveyard. His Effect
enbles you to not worry about opposing Soul Release and Kycoo the Ghost
Destroyer. Because as we all know, if your opponent has a Kycoo on the field,
you can't Special Summon Dark Necrofear.
Gemini Elf: You're not always going to have a Dark Necrofear on
the Field. Having a backup attacker is extremely necessary in order to build a
good Dark Necrofear deck. Gemini Elf fits the bill nicely.
Bazoo the
Soul-Eater: Another great attacker. No explanation is really needed. If you
want, you can even consider dropping a Gemini Elf for a 2nd one.
Jinzo: it's a Jinzo. Come on. ;p
-Magic- 15
2x
Graceful Charity (Assuming it'll be at 2)
2x Mystical Space
Typhoon
1x Raigeki
1x Dark Hole
1x Change of Heart
1x Monster
Reborn
1x Pot of Greed
1x Heavy Storm (Assuming it'll be at 1)
1x
Snatch Steal
1x Nobleman of Crossout
1x Card Destruction
1x United We
Stand (Assuming it'll be at 1)
1x Painful Choice
You had most of the Magic down. The only card that needs to be
explained is Painful Choice.
Painful Choice: I'm not sure why you didnt
use this before, maybe it's because you didn't realize the combo potential.
Simply use Painful Choice and pull out 4-5 Fiend-type Monsters from your deck.
No matter what happens, atleast 3 of them will hit the Graveyard. Thus allowing
you to Special Summon Dark Necrofear very quickly.
United We Stand: Too
many Equips isn't a good idea. But playing with just United We Stand can
potentially give you the added boost to finish off a Monster or your opponent's
Life Points. The best power-up Equipment Magic card by far.
-Trap- 7
2x Magic Jammer
1x Mirror Force
1x
Magic Cylinder (Assuming it'll be at 1)
1x Call of the Haunted
1x Imperial
Order
1x Skull Lair
Horn of Heaven: I see why you use it, but that still doesn't make
it playable. Overall crap.
Seven Tools of the Bandit: This card isn't too
great either. Much too outdated to use in the current enviroment.
Ceasefire: A good card, but it's better suited for the Side Deck.
It's not something that is totally necessary in the Main Deck.
Magic
Cylinder: It's a Magic Cylinder. Much too good to not abuse. Going to be
restricted for a very good reason.
Skull Lair: Why not put whatever cards
you have left in you in Graveyard to use? Can potentially be a damn strong card.
Expect it to win you the occasional game.
There you have it. Good
luck.
